Sony's PSP-3000 upgrade had the brighter, increased contrast and wider
screen The more vivid display takes more power overall, but the rest of the
PSP's components are now using less power, giving battery life a net change
of zero, which is good. There are visible jagged lines and scan lines but it's
not that bad.

If your more aware of the appearance of your psp, choose the PSP 1000. But
the PSP 3000 has nicer screen and memory.
